Financial plan
A financial plan gives you the steps how to achieve your goal, brings peace of mind and gives you a carefree, free feeling.
We start with the now, hear from you where you want to go and map your possibilities of how to achieve it. The action plan will clarify what you can do.
Mortgage
Who can you turn to when you are looking for truly independent mortgage advice? Many banks and insurers will only offer you their own products and therefore cannot provide truly independent mortgage advice. The same applies to large insurers and online mortgage providers.
Have you ever considered the following questions?
- Is there an option for early repayment?
- Do you incur a penalty if you sell the house?
- Do you currently receive a discount on the interest rate, and are you penalized at renewal because you are not a new customer?
- Can you increase the mortgage later without costs?
- How reliable is your lender?
- Is a mortgage from a foreign lender attractive to you?
- What happens if you become disabled or lose your job?
- Can your partner and/or children still live in the house if you unexpectedly pass away?
- These are just a few of the many factors that determine the value of the advice you receive.
Growing your wealth
We work 100% independent with a number of excellent asset managers. We have carefully selected these for different preferences, approaches and situations.
No one size fits all solution, but tailored to you. They focus on the return that needs to be made and your choice of risk is closely monitored and retained in the event of changes.
Not a bet, no finfluencer recommendation but thoughtful, proven reliable and relevant action for your money.
Retirement planning
Many people in the Netherlands believe that they will receive about 70% of their current income after retirement. However, this is almost never the case. Do you know exactly what you will receive when you retire? Is it sufficient, or do you need to take measures now while you still can?
A pension advice will give you clear insight!
The pension system in the Netherlands is based on three pillars:
- AOW (State Pension): Provided by the government, with the start date adjusted according to life expectancy.
- Pension from Current and/or Previous Employers.
- Private Provisions: Such as annuity capital that you have built up yourself.
Often, your own home, savings, and investments are referred to as the fourth pillar.
These provisions are always included in the pension advice provided by your financial planner at Your Financials.
Our approach
We then agree on our assignment, what result we are working towards and what compensation we ask for this.
Then we get to work on the content. We try to get to know you well without asking unnecessary questions or asking for unnecessary supporting documents. We give an estimate of the time we need and keep you informed of progress. We develop the advice with actions and solution options.
Next steps
Do you want us to implement the solution as well? That is excellent of course! We are dealing with an independent regulator that sets requirements for the way in which we have to perform some services.
That is why we make additional agreements and then immediately get to work to arrange what needs to be done.
Fees
Affordability is our starting point. We demonstrate this by comparing our services with those of other providers in the market. In principle, our wealth advisory fee is based on the number of hours estimated in advance, multiplied by our hourly rate. Exceptions may apply, in which case a customized agreement is made beforehand
- Mediation of mortgages and life insurance is exempt from VAT.
- It is possible to make a fixed price agreement if the situation permits.
- Financial advice is not cheap, but good advice pays for itself quickly.
- If our services have a business character, the company can treat our invoice as (tax deductible) operating expenses.
- For private clients, costs for advice and mediation of the mortgage for the owner-occupied home are tax deductible provided that the mediated mortgage also takes place.
- Brokerage fees paid to us for immediately paying annuity products are tax-deductible for individuals. We recommend that these costs be stated in the Dutch tax return form under “ Betaalde bedragen voor een lijfrente” (amounts paid for an annuity) and, if applicable, add the fee to the premiums paid for the annuity.
